Our Story

Hostea was born from a simple vision: to prove that it is possible to manage an Airbnb property efficiently, transparently, and serenely, without dedicating all your time to it.

Founded by Victor Timmermans, a real estate and data analysis enthusiast, Hostea relies on concrete field experience. For over three years, Victor has optimised and managed two short-term rental properties, gradually improving the listings, pricing, occupancy, and guest experience. Through iterations, tests, and analyses, these properties have reached a performance level comparable to that of professional concierges in the industry.

It was by observing the results but also the difficulties faced by other property owners that Hostea came to be. Too often, properties remain underutilised due to time-consuming management, a lack of strategy, or poor online visibility. Hostea was created to solve this problem by combining cutting-edge technology, local expertise, and personalised human support.
